So you can do your cc like Creator name then make a subfolder for tops, dresses, accessories etc. To see what's in the package either use sims 4 studio or sims 4 mod manager. If you need to find a specific cc item, you can use sims 4 Studio.

For example files in Mods>CAS>Upper Body would still show up but if you add an extra folder Mods>CAS>Upper Body>Swimsuits then the game will no longer recognize it.
