The gunsmith rank up packages can drop it so you could try dumping a ton of weapon parts into his lap. what I learned is you just play with what you have rn. no poing in chasing a specific build that's dependent on mods or specific exotics, unless thoser exotics are tied to quests. ikelos smg is a random world drop so you can't farm it. Ikelos was part of season of the seraph. Since the seasonal vendor for it is fine it's harder to obtain although I see bungie adding a method for it later. Ikelos is a world drop, so you can't focus farm it right now.

The Ikelos weapons are in the world loot pool, and they don't drop often for most people. Hey, there are better and easier to farm SMGs for PvP, the older the guns are the less chance you have to get them from random drop sources. You can do that 6x per season even with the season pass... so consider that.It's a world drop, so you can still get it. However, because it is a world drop there's no way to farm it. IIRC they're adding a system next (?) season that allows you to add deepsight to craftable weapons, so keep a couple copies just in case. That isn't at all what they're doing.Even if you don't own the season pass, you can still farm god roll IKELOS weapons such as the SMG v1.0.3 with volt shot.
