I recently adjusted the valves and performed an oil change because it wouldn't idle properly and was throwing the dreaded P2646 code. The idle cleared up perfectly, found the exhaust valves were tight as hell. I removed the spool valve at this time and cleaned the screen, replaced it, P2646 remains, still going into limp mode at 3000 rpm.Dreaded VTEC P2646 code - Tried everything. thanks I read some of that, I had the p2646 code come up and i fixed that with changing the oil, I know of that issue and have fixed it on 5 elements so its not a big deal to me. The code came up P2646 (rocker arm off or stuck). I took the info and drove about 20 more total miles and then it happened once again. I looked at the some info online and decided it might be VTEC oil pressure switch related as the code diagnostics said.
