There is no "rust issues" with the P365 magazines anymore than any other carbon steel magazine, frame or slide, even on very high end guns.

There were no issues with the first 500 rounds, half of which were SIG 365 FMJ purchased from the range. The next 100 rounds of 365 FMJ, purchased directly from Sig, had 24 FTF. P365 - Reassembly problem. Upon returning from the range today and cleaning my P365, I was reassembling when the slide became stuck. Yes, - I did have the take down lever pushed forward. As I was putting the slide on the receiver, it was back far enough to be flush with the front and back of the receiver as if it were normally on.

Striker tips can break on any handgun regardless of make or model. SIG had a bad run of them early in P365 production but that problem was licked a long time ago. The new striker will have a stronger, beveled tip on it and should last you many thousands of rounds. I purchased the P365 TacPac this month (October 2020) and love the three 12 round clips and holster. I cleaned the gun before going to the range as I have learned this is always a good practice plus it let me familiarize myself with the gun.
