It’s got a huge problem with Apple Pay, I usually use metro card or tap my physical card. From what I know for physical cards, the omny screen has to be clear enough to read the card and a certain amount of damages/wear (no idea how much) on the card may cause it not to work even if the chip or the magnetic strip is intact.
