Totally depends on your build. With an assault rifles build, Problem Solver can be "best weapon in the game", add tech weapon skills and "Widowmaker" can be "best weapon". comrades hammer is more a power weapon than a tech weapon. (no charge function or relation with the charge perks) for the other tech pistols and revolvers their charged mode does less damage than just shooting so that makes the tech tree just a wallhack sadly. the tech weapons arent really thought through.

Perhaps it is a skill issue of incomprehensible proportions, but I just can't seem to get a damn headshot on the Comrade's Hammer. I've stood point blank with someone's face taking up the entire aiming reticle and I still wouldn't get a headshot. Does it not headshot since it's technically an AoE? That just seems no fun.

I figured I have to upgrade it to tier 5 to get the actual Comrades Hammer, but it doesn't show up in my upgrades list as my iconic pistol Cheetah does, and the Burya doesn't have the iconic background.

You can see the spec/blueprint for it in the inventory of NPC before looting, but when you go into crafting there is nothing for those weapons.That's dealing 1.3-1.6k damage per shot, it just fires slowly. A machine gun will have higher DPS, but much lower damage per shot. Comrade's Hammer will have lower DPS then every other gun, but it has the benefit of basically one shotting anyone.
