Actually - many of the mods and software no longer work for the game version. And players should not have to go through the hassle of loading multiple mods for something as basic as removing 2 black bars to enjoy the game in a single player open world. Wait for the mods to update, it usually doesn't take long for the creators to catch up.

But to answer your question, no. FromSoft put an FPS lock and did not include widescreen support. Implementing the simple fixes modders have made will have EAC flag/ban you. So it's offline only at the moment.
