Long story short I have no history of the quads previous runnability, but I did rebuild the carburetor with a kit. I have no previous experience with carburetors, so this is a learning curve. First crank the quad started immediately.

You will just have to adjust the idle by sound I presume you do not have a tach. You should disassemble the carb and clean it.
