Proper torque should hold the red dot to the slide and prevent it from lifting in the front. All things being equal it's either installation or bad hardware. I've had good luck with CHPWS now and in the past so I'd check torque, screw length, and thread locker (blue loctite usually) before you give up on the Holosun which is a great sight.

I went to the range for the first time with the holosun tool to adjust the sight and to my surprise it was perfectly zeroed so for me I kinda got lucky. I use a laser bore sight to get it close enough. Go to the range and shoot 3 at a time, adjust the optic and be done. Mine is to the left center.
