According to my experience, if USCIS release visa bulletin very first week of the month, we don't see any updates. Usually they copy and paste the same dates from the previous month. If they don't release the dates right away, we see updates. As of today, Jan 9, they still didn't release the dates. I am assuming they will release it next Monday ...
