How to know when vex strike force is happening.

It happens to me kind of often due to loading and travel delays. I think it happens when the event has already finished or reached a certain point where it no longer spawns when you reach the location.If there's a public event in the Incursion Zone, hover your mouse over it and it will tell you if it's the Strike Force event.
