Difference between glock 43x and 43x mos.
This is a question for those with a Glock 43X and a Glock 26. I have a Sig 320 Carry that I am considering selling or trading for a Glock 26. I have a CZ PO1 I prefer over the Sig. Going through some analysis paralysis, there does not appear to be a lot of difference between the Glock 43X and Glock 26 for most EDC use.

Better trigger and better sights and better overall feel, and better accuracy at least for me. Not sure that the Canik/G43 comparison holds up and it seems like the Canik is more like unto the G19.The Glock 19 weighs about 30 oz. when empty, whereas the Glock 43X is around 23 oz. The G19 holds 15 rounds, and the 43X holds 10 rounds. Magazine extenders can be purchased for either, increasing their capacity. The Xmacro with its 17 rd grip is not concealable at all. It's worse than Glock 19 to conceal. So if that's what you are considering get a Glock 19 MOS. P365 XL is the subcompact that is comparable to 43x. the 43X MOS slide is set up for the Trijicon, if you go with the HS you'll need an adapter plate, I got a C & H plate for around $50.00, it does raise the RDS in the slide cut out, plates 0.070" thick, I've also heard of having the mounting studs ground down so the HS fit flush with the bottom of the cut out.

Also assuming it's Kydex, you can judge if a bit of heating with a hair dryer and reshaping a bit will work. Don’t get mos if you aren’t gonna put a light or optic. I prefer my regular 48 over the mos and no matter what people say the shield mags don’t replace a Glock 19. Been there done that. My 19 has a light mounted so I don’t really have a need to make my 48 heavier. Carrying the 48 over the 43x, the difference in weight is negligible.
There are some companies that will mill your MOS to fit the RMRcc without the plate.
