I have a 2007 Element, SC. It has 210,000 miles on the car. At 200,000 I had a P2646 code pop up. Check engine light came on, VSA and The triangle and exclamation mark. The vehicle bucked and shook on hard acceleration. I was out of town and had a local mechanic change out the VVT pressure switch, change the oil.However, there are other faults that can cause P2646, including low VTEC oil pressure (from dirty oil clogging filter screens in the engine, low oil, wrong oil, bad oil pump, worn engine etc), loose wire connectors/broken wiring, and computer errors.
