Hughesnet system control center not working.

I have only my computer hooked up to the wireless. I have no phone, TV, table, etc. Only one computer hooked up to the wireless - no other devices. In the past, I have had one computer, my phone and my husband's phone (when he is not at work) hooked up to WIFI and never ran out of data. I have spoken to HughesNet multiple times.1.) Connect PC to HT2000w direct via cable, 192.168..1 pops right up. a.) Usage meter in sys tray works. b.) Usage meter shortcut on desktop clicks but never opens. c.) The hard cable connection would drop connectivity every minute or so and require replugging the cable. VERY strange.Very slow. The system has always been very slow. Like a couple of minutes to load any page. Just trying to pin it down, have a couple of questions. Have done many speed tests all good, and several data loss tests, all good. The LAN light on the modem is always on and flashing, with nothing plugged into the LAN ports. Is this normal? Is 105 a good.For my laptop (X170KM-G) I found control center v3.36 on that webpage. Once downloaded and unzipped be sure to run setup.bat NOT setup.exe. At least that was the trick for me. When I ran the setup.exe, it rendered control center a useless icon in my system tray and control center simply didn't work at all.
