Is that correct? At that date would the chambers have been factory cut for 2-3/4" shells?People still had $20 gold coins with a full ounce of gold in them, in the early 1920's. I just bought a Lefever Nitro Special 12ga with 30" barrels. S/N indicates manufacture in 1927. BEAUTIFUL gun. Superb mechanical condition. The bone charcoal case hardening is still quite visible on the bottom, and just a bit worn off on the sides. Checkering is still visible, but worn down quite a bit.
