I have a +10 Uchigatana I'm using and I was wondering at what point is it worth using dark over another infusion. I was planning on getting both faith and int to about 20-25. Is it worth infusing it into dark?

You don't have to get hit at the same time to deal counter-damage. hitting your opponent at any time during their attacks applies counter damage.A normal Uchigatana has only 80 durability and the Crystal upgrade would significantly reduce that. Can't find the information anywhere. The official guide only shows the weapon's other parameters. 8 Durability. The rule with crystal weapons is that they have 10% of the durability and you can't repair them, except by upgrading them.

It does scale almost entirely with dex so from an efficiency stand point it may not be the best for you. You might want to try and find a quality (str/dex) scaling alternative instead. Feels good to kick ass with such a simple weapon when they are using some fancy bullshit or overcompensating with a giant monstrosity. I prefer the curved sword to the straight sword though.
