We also always go to the Jack Stack downtown. The suburban locations are just not as good. I have tried the LS location a few times and it's not as good. Even the plaza location is not as good as the downtown location. BTW, Q39 is in KCMO. If we do go to the KS side for BBQ, it's typically Rosedale on SW Blvd.
