So I got my Nexplanon implant on March 10, 2021. I knew that one of the side effects was spotting or bleeding with Nexplanon, but I didn’t experience any of that until I started my period about a week after (March 17). My gyn told me that if my spotting became uncomfortable or had any questions about it to let her know, so when my period ... I am on my 2nd nexplanon. I had nonstop bleeding for greater than 6 months, then “cycles” of heaving bleeding with light spotting in between after that. I also did 21 days of estriadiol about 5-6 months in and then 2 months of birth control pills after that to see if it would help. It finally tapered off after 10 months or so.I've heard of people having successes in stopping their bleeding by taking Yarrow supplements, Shepherd's Purse, B6 & magnesium, and even iron pills.
