Sep 17, 2015 · Dropped off my Rubicon at dealers today. The same problem as described above, after an hour of riding the DCT transmission will not shift. A dash will be displayed on the gear indicator on the instrument panel. Shutting it off will usually enable me to shift back into neutral and start over again. I have had it with Honda. A footshift is more reliable, less to go wrong. PERIOD. The DCT is a good system for an automatic, BUT there are simply more components to break.
